SMARTplex
A new alternative to our tried-and-tested acrylic glass laminations using the Diasec® process is here!
Even we in the development team have enjoyed seeing how the product has continued to improve.
Your advantage: a low-cost variant that comes very close to our Diasec® products in terms of quality.
The difference between Diasec® and SMARTplex:
With our Diasec® products, we print on high-quality FineArt paper, laminate this in the patented Diasec®-process behind the most perfect and therefore also the most expensive acrylic glass Perspex® CC and back it with high-priced original DIBOND® aluminum composite panels.
Our new product SMARTplex 3+3 is printed directly behind 3 mm acrylic glass using our new high-resolution direct-to-plate printer and then back-laminated with a 3 mm aluminum composite panel.
In addition to the savings in paper and lamination costs, we are no longer reaching for the very top shelf when it comes to the choice of material, but rather one level lower in terms of price (excellent Plexiglas® GS & DILITE® aluminum composite panel).
Our proven Grieger mounting rail system 40 serves as the suspension system.
You can freely select your desired dimensions up to a panel size of 200 cm x 300 cm. For individual requests – such as other panel thickness combinations or other suspensions – we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

FineArt Large Format Printing
We produce large and durable FineArt prints up to a maximum of 190 cm on our Mimaki printer using Original Epson Ultrachrome Pro ink. The result: the best quality with natural color reproduction, and impressive results in black and white as well.
We use the following papers:
Canson Platine Fibre Rag: Roll width 192 cm, printable area approximately 190 cm (depending on the coating).
Illford Galerie Gold Fibre Gloss: Roll width 186 cm, printable area 184 cm.
Illford Smooth Pearl: Roll width 186 cm, printable area 184 cm.
All papers are suitable for the Diasec process.
FINEART PRINTS
We make high-resolution FineArt prints on a wide range of materials.
Our prints are made using the latest Canon and Epson printer models. The pigment ink system offers exceptional colour quality and brilliant black-and-white results. This allows us to make prints that last longer than enlargements on conventional photographic paper.
We also work with a wide variety of papers, with different weights and surfaces. We pay particular attention to longevity, durability and archive life when recommending the paper type to use for your project. We can also print on canvas for subsequent mounting on a stretcher frame. Grieger is proud to be a certified print partner of Hahnemühle, Ilford and Canson.
HQ LATEX
The ink in low-odour HQ latex is embedded in a dispersion of water and latex. During the thermal printing process, the water content evaporates and the remaining colour pigment is coated with a latex polymer layer. This printing method is ideal for posters, car laminations, wallpapers, banners, display materials and fabrics. We can produce prints in dimensions of up to 500 x 240 cm with Diasec®.
UV DIRECT-TO-PLATE PRINTING
We work with UV direct-to-plate printing because it doesn’t require any surface protection, has no drying time, is weather and abrasion resistant, and lightfast. The maximum plate size is 200 x 250 cm, and we can print on rigid synthetic materials, metal, glass or wood up to 40 mm thick. We also offer the option of white ink printing, to allow for other creative possibilities.
SCANS
We offer high-end scans from your reflective originals, transparencies or negative films in sizes up to A3, with a resolution of up to 5600 dpi. Larger sizes are available upon request. There are two different services available:
Raw Scan
We optimise the colour, density and contrast of scans on our calibrated monitors. Raw scans do not include the removal of dust.
Normal Scan
In addition to a raw scan, we remove dust via digital retouching, make a test print, and adjust colour, density and contrast as required.
