SMARTplex
A new alternative to our proven acrylic glass laminations using the Diasec® process is here!
Even for us in the development team, it was exciting to see how the product kept improving over time.
Your Advantage:
An affordable alternative that comes very close in quality to our Diasec® products.
The Difference Between Diasec® and SMARTplex:
Our Diasec® products are printed on high-quality FineArt paper, laminated using the patented Diasec® process behind premium and therefore most expensive acrylic glass, Perspex® CC, and backed with high-end original DIBOND® aluminum composite panels.
Our new product, SMARTplex 3+3, is produced using our new high-resolution direct-to-substrate printer, printing directly behind 3 mm acrylic glass, and then backed with a 3 mm aluminum composite panel. By reducing costs for paper and lamination, we also opt for high-quality yet more cost-effective materials, using excellent Plexiglas® GS and DILITE® aluminum composite panels.
For mounting, we use our well-established Grieger hanging rail system 40.
You can choose your custom dimensions up to a maximum panel size of 200 cm x 300 cm.
For individual requests, such as different panel thickness combinations or alternative mounting options, we are happy to provide a customized quote.

FINE ART PRINTS
We make high-resolution fine art prints on a wide range of materials.
Our prints are made using the latest Canon and Epson printer models. The pigment ink system offers exceptional colour quality and brilliant black-and-white results. This allows us to make prints that last longer than enlargements on conventional photographic paper.
We also work with a wide variety of papers, with different weights and surfaces. We pay particular attention to longevity, durability and archive life when recommending the paper type to use for your project. We can also print on canvas for subsequent mounting on a stretcher frame. Grieger is proud to be a certified print partner of Hahnemühle, Ilford and Canson.
HQ LATEX
The ink in low-odour HQ latex is embedded in a dispersion of water and latex. During the thermal printing process, the water content evaporates and the remaining colour pigment is coated with a latex polymer layer. This printing method is ideal for posters, car laminations, wallpapers, banners, display materials and fabrics. We can produce prints in dimensions of up to 500 x 240 cm with Diasec®.
UV DIRECT-TO-PLATE PRINTING
We work with UV direct-to-plate printing because it doesn’t require any surface protection, has no drying time, is weather and abrasion resistant, and lightfast. The maximum plate size is 200 x 250 cm, and we can print on rigid synthetic materials, metal, glass or wood up to 40 mm thick. We also offer the option of white ink printing, to allow for other creative possibilities.
SCANS
We offer high-end scans from your reflective originals, transparencies or negative films in sizes up to A3, with a resolution of up to 5600 dpi. Larger sizes are available upon request. There are two different services available:
Raw Scan
We optimise the colour, density and contrast of scans on our calibrated monitors. Raw scans do not include the removal of dust.
Normal Scan
In addition to a raw scan, we remove dust via digital retouching, make a test print, and adjust colour, density and contrast as required.
