In 2020, Grieger was proud to contribute to the creation of the art project La Guardia Vistas in New York City. Commissioned by LaGuardia Gateway Partners in collaboration with the Public Art Fund, Grieger produced Sabine Hornig’s monumental work as a latex print on window film for its permanent installation.

In this work, Sabine Hornig combines a tribute to the renowned mayor and airport founder, Fiorello La Guardia (1882–1947), with the iconic New York City skyline. Covering approximately 1,100 square meters (11,840 square feet) of glass, the installation lines the pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal B Arrivals with the departure halls. The composition consists of 1,104 seamlessly interwoven individual photographs, forming an imagined, inverted New York skyline.

In its feature on the project, The New York Times praised the installation and enthusiastically recommended a visit to LaGuardia Airport’s new “public art gallery.”
